How Does It Work?
The ZOOM! teeth whitening procedure combines the use of whitening gel and an advanced technology professional whitening accelerator lamp. The treatment is often referred to as "laser teeth whitening".
The Accelerator Illuminates the teeth at a wavelength of 480 to 520 nanometers, proven to be the optimal range for teeth whitening. With a maximum intensity of 6000mw/cm2, it's the most powerful teeth whitening procedure on the market.
You can choose to have your teeth up to 10 times whiter. The treatment takes between 45mins-1hour and results last upwards of 3 years.
Are there any side effects?
Sensitivity during the treatment may occur with some patients. On rare occasions, minor tingling sensations are experienced immediately after the Zoom teeth whitening procedure, these dissipate shortly after the teeth whitening treatment. You can also ask your dentist to supply you with anti-sensitivity toothpaste for use prior to treatment. Applying toothaste to whitened teeth will help with sensitivity.
Is teeth whitening safe?
Yes. Extensive research and clinical studies indicate that whitening teeth is safe. In fact, many dentists consider tooth whitening to be the safest cosmetic dental procedure available. As with any tooth whitening product, Zoom! technology teeth whitening is not recommended for children under 13 years of age and pregnant or lactating women.
